I am not a part of a large group and I am not contracted with nor do I work for any of the mega venture capital-backed telehealth tech companies and their numerous partners saturating the mental health market right now. Therefore, no part of how I run my practice and how I work with my clients involves so-called performance & productivity metrics, recording of sessions, harvesting and selling your data or using AI tools that may and do interfere with your privacy, autonomy and my ability to make decisions with you on what’s best for your treatment. I am beholden to the ethics guidelines put forth by my licensing and accreditation authorities. In the face of big-money firms overtaking the market and changing the very nature of psychotherapy while not abiding by the same ethics principles as independent practitioners, I stand firmly by my principles, professional best practices, and my craft.
